Delaware Public Archives to host seminar on how to create a family ...

The Delaware Public Archives will be holding a genealogy presentation at 10:30 a.m. July 7.

Genealogist Nancy Lyons will teach attendees how to create their own family trees in this first part of her series. She will discuss research techniques for vital statistics, census reports and probate records that can be useful to those searching for information in Delaware and other states.

Registration is not required for this program, which is free to the public.

The Delaware Public Archives is located at 121 Duke of York St., Dover.

Lyons is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the National Genealogical Society.
