What Happens If A Buyer Saw Our House When It Was Listed As A ...

questions

Q: We had our house for sale by owner until yesterday, Friday. A lady called our cell phone wanting to see our house. She had passed by and got our number four days ago when it was still listed by owner which is why she called my cell phone and not our Realtor. Is there a grace period for something Ike this in regards to letting the couple see the house and sell by owner?
?Ian, Shreveport, LA

A: Unless you have an exclusion in your listing for past interested buyers, then you will have to go through your Realtor.

A: Refer to your listing agreement for applicable terms/conditions. It?d be hard to prove procuring cause one way or the other so it?d be best to be forthcoming about all relevant facts with your Realtor. Best of luck with the sale of your property.
